In Gainesville, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Compare the out-the-door price across shops in Florida, since installation fees vary more than the tires themselves. Keep the receipt: the tire warranty and any road-hazard coverage are tied to it. Demand peaks before winter and before summer road trips. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop sells used tires or handles truck and trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (352) 256-3371. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is tiredepot.us, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 967 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded used tire shops in Gainesville.

Gainesville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Gainesville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Good selection of USED tires. Fair prices. Good service. Usually balancing and mounting included in the price. I don't think they offer new.

If I could give zero Stars I would. Got all four of my tires replaced Last Summer. The installation seemed to go fine, but when I got in my car all of my tire PSI's were all over filled. (36 is recommended) all of them were in the upper 50's and no two were the same. I noticed this immediately after driving off the lot, and called and spoke to the female manager who told me to bring it back and assured me they would fix it. I immediately went back and the manager apologized profusely, and told me that she got on to the tech for overfilling them and they would fix it. I got my PSI fixed almost immediately, and thought the problem was solved. Now here it is next summer and I have had to replace my tires since then, typically one at a time. The tech that overfilled them and got in trouble tightened my lug nuts so tight that even roadside assistance could not change my tire because they cannot get the lug nut off. Was hoping that was a fluke but since then every time I have had to change they have had to cut the lug nut off and replace them. I believe this is done out of spite, I would stay far away from this business.

Horrible experience, got there around 4 o’clock for 3 tires didn’t leave until 9:40 that night . The tecs scratched and put a small dent in my vehicle with the jack , then they scratched up all three rims . Upon leaving I realized air leaking out of 2 of the 3 tires I purchased. I brought them back to make them aware . Come to find out they ended up breaking 2 of the vale stems and tried to charge me $20 each to replace them. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS . Make sure to document everything and keep your receipts

Very blessed for their customer service, assistance in problem solving & staying open for my boyfriend to make it there after hours in order for him to be able to get back on the road heading towards his USMC unit. We are both very thankful & appreciative for their kindness.

I absolutely love this tire shop! As a local, it's so refreshing to find a business that truly cares about the community it serves. From the moment I walked in, the staff treated me like a neighbor, not just another customer. They took the time to explain exactly what my car needed without any pressure or upselling, and their prices were more than fair. I've been to the big chain stores before, and the difference is night and day. These folks genuinely want to keep you safe on the road and keep your business for the long haul. The quality of work here is outstanding, and the turnaround time was incredibly fast. I had a nail in my tire and was worried I'd need a full replacement, but they patched it up perfectly and had me back on the road in under an an hour. It's clear they take pride in their work and in serving our community. I've already recommended them to family and friends, and I'll definitely be coming back for all my tire needs. If you're looking for honest, reliable service from people who actually care, this is your spot!
